Homecoming October 28th

We will celebrate our homecoming on October 28th with a worship service at 10:30 a.m. and a covered dish fellowship meal to follow. Dr. Dwarka Ramphal will bring the message during our worship service. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together the blessings of our church family.

Worship With The Children

Our Sunday Children’s Ministries have opportunities to worship with the youngest members of our congregation. Our nursery provides loving care for the babies through age three and has new materials to make the time spent with the babies enjoyable. The Chapel is an opportunity to lead children up to third grade in a Grace filled atmosphere with messages that parallel our Pastors sermons but, in an age, appropriate format. These are wonderful times to share the love of Christ with the children of our church family. Please contact Charlene Taylor if you are interested in being a part of this essential ministry for this church.

As we prepare for our annual Christmas Gala, if you have auction quality donations or donations from area businesses, please contact Shirley Britt at 843-845-2718 OR Doris Kelley at 252-452-7461. The gala is November 17th with doors opening at 5 p.m. Tickets will be $25.00 each. If anyone would like a ticket, please contact Doris or Shirley for tickets as well.

Discipleship Class – CHANGE OF DATE TO NOVEMBER

The Discipleship Class 1: Becoming Disciples through Bible Study will begin this fall with classes on Tuesdays twice a month starting November 6th. Note this is a new start date due to shipping delays of the materials. This series will be in a new format designed for busy adults as it journeys us through all the books of the Bible.  Graduates of the program are encouraged to come a mentor classmates as we find fresh insights into Scripture. If you are interested in joining the class or have questions, please contact Doreen.

Fall Festival October 31st

We will have a Fall Festival this October 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 with all that makes an autumn country faire fun. The Men will have a baking contest; the ladies will have a chili cookoff; and the kids will have a pumpkin carving contest. If you are an artist or crafter, we would love to have you display your handmade goods in our artisanal show. The kids will be able to dress up and get Halloween candy and we will have a fire to roast hotdogs. Games and festivities throughout the night will provide a good time for all. Candy donations are appreciated.
