Children’s Ministry
On Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM, we provide engaging and age-appropriate classes for preschoolers and school-aged children, designed to help them grow in their understanding of God’s love and His Word. Our dedicated teachers create a welcoming and fun environment where children can build friendships, ask questions, and develop their faith.
In addition to weekly classes, we host special children’s events throughout the year, including an exciting Easter Egg Hunt, a fun-filled Vacation Bible School, and a community Fall Festival that the whole family can enjoy. During worship, children are invited to use Bible-based activity bags, filled with activities and resources to help them stay engaged and connect with the message. At Brunswick Islands Baptist Church, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of our youngest members in a loving and supportive environment.
Youth Ministry
Our active youth ministry, for students in grades 7-12, provides a vibrant space to grow in faith and build lasting friendships. Youth meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM and Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM for Bible study, fellowship, and fun. In addition to weekly gatherings, we host monthly activities, an annual lock-in, exciting camp experiences, and other special events throughout the year. Youth who love music also have opportunities to sing or play instruments as part of our worship. There's always something happening for our youth to connect, learn, and serve!
Music Ministry
Music has been at the heart of Brunswick Islands Baptist Church since its founding and continues to be a vital part of our worship today. Our blended music style, combining contemporary and traditional elements, is led by a talented praise band and a wonderful choir. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM and warmly welcomes new members, while the praise band practices on Thursday evenings. Whether you love singing, playing an instrument, or simply enjoying uplifting music, there’s a place for everyone to connect through worship.
Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry
At Brunswick Islands Baptist Church, we are committed to serving our community by providing food to individuals and families facing hunger in Brunswick County. As a proud member of the NC Food Bank, our Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry is open on the first and third Tuesdays of every month from 8:00 to 10:30 AM. Unlike traditional pantries, we allow individuals to walk through and select the items they need, reducing food waste and ensuring dignity.
With the help of a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, we’re able to distribute fresh and frozen food items. The pantry operates through the generosity of individual contributions and grants, making it a true community effort to combat food insecurity.
