Hi, I’m Pastor Keith McKinney, and I warmly invite you to worship with us at Brunswick Islands Baptist Church, whether you’re vacationing at the beach or new to our growing community. Our church family is a diverse, loving, and welcoming group focused on Christ, with individuals from various backgrounds and traditions.
We strive to love God and our neighbors by offering opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, and service. Our blended worship features biblical sermons and a casual, friendly atmosphere, with active classes and service opportunities for all ages. At Brunswick Islands, men and women serve equally in leadership, and we’re excited about the future God has for us. We’d love to meet you soon!

Our worship at Brunswick Islands Baptist Church is welcoming and engaging for all. With casual dress, blended music led by both a praise band and choir, and biblically based preaching relevant to daily life, there’s something for everyone. From responsive and scripture readings to bluegrass, gospel, contemporary songs, and classic hymns (using both hymnals and screens), we celebrate a rich variety of worship styles.
Our hospitality team will greet you at the front door, and we offer a nursery during the service as needed. For school-aged children, activity bags are available to help them engage during worship. We can’t wait to welcome you!
Wednesday Evenings at BIBC
Fellowship Meal: 5:30 PM
Bible Study for All Ages: 6:30 PM
Adult Choir Practice: 7:30 PM
Join us for fellowship and spiritual growth on Wednesdays at Brunswick Islands Baptist Church! We gather for potluck and fellowship meals on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights, followed by Bible study at 6:30 PM, with an additional study at 11:00 AM. These interactive studies focus on books of the Bible, blending teaching, conversation, and prayer.
Youth meet at 6:30 PM for a time of prayer, fun, games, Bible study, and sharing life together, while choir practice begins at 7:30 PM. Come connect, learn, and grow with us midweek!
Ministries at BIBC
Our church is a vibrant community with ministries for all ages, including Sunday School, youth group, summer camps, mission opportunities, and fun activities like trips to Myrtle Beach and bowling, with youth actively leading in worship and performing a Christmas play each year. Adults enjoy senior outings, weekly worship with a traditional choir and praise band, and opportunities to serve through our CARE ministry and the Loaves and Fishes food pantry, which provides food assistance twice a month as part of the NC Food Bank.
